Add the Beam extension Kit: Wind longer warps on your Arras Tapestry Loom with this kit. It includes a sturdy base, plus ratcheted warp and cloth beams for superb tensioning control. Kit will fit on all existing Arras tapestry looms. Instead of direct warping on the loom, the extension kit allows for warp and cloth storage—so that longer warps are possible.
Add a floor stand, treadles for shedding, as well as a trap to conveniently store tools.
The Arras Stand comes with one trap or two traps.
Treadles are available as an add-on for the stand.
All accessories will attach to any existing Arras Tapestry Loom.

Tapestry Weaving Book, comprehension Study Guide. by Nancy Harvey It’s easy to learn tapestry weaving from start to finish with Nancy Harvey, one of America’s best-known teachers of this exciting craft. Using the same clear step-by-step approach that makes her workshops so successful, Nancy leads you through building a simple frame loom, to mastering the basic techniques, to completing handsome pieces based on her designs. She even provides tips on how to prepare designs of your own.
Tapestry Weaving Book by Kirsten Glasbrook. Glasbrook’s mastery of tapestry techniques, gleaned from years as a restorer of antique tapestries and part-time teacher of weaving at the Bath Academy of Art, comes through in this how-to volume. These simple and traditional techniques are rendered in brilliant color ranges and a diversity of textures.
The Art of Tapestry Weaving by Rebecca Mezoff This book comes at the perfect time, as more and more weavers delve into tapestry weaving. Rebecca covers all those things you really want to know: choosing yarns, mastering different warping techniques, setting up a tapestry. Best of all, she explores a variety of techniques and explains why you want to choose one over another. The illustrations are plentiful and the instructions superb. You can really, truly learn to weave tapestry from this book or use it as a textbook for one of Rebecca’s excellent online tapestry courses.
Tapestry Beaters
Single-ended, double-ended, and a weighted single-ended. All are made of hard maple and have a smooth Danish oil finish. The wooden teeth are set at five per inch. The weighted beater has about five ounces of lead weight inserted into the end to provide more impact for tighter weaving.
Tapestry Bobbins
Made of a rich, dark brown plywood, Gobelin-style tapestry bobbins are silky smooth with a pointy tip for easy weaving. The bobbins are 8″ long, 5/8″ diameter at the widest point, and weigh about one ounce each. Available in a package of three.
