For the Love of Nature Quilt
Using the complimentary pattern from Riley Blake. Click here for your copy
Fabric designed by Teresa Kogut: 1 36’ panel. I’m sold out of the border print and assorted prints. The log cabin corners can be completed with a assortment of fat quarters or 10” square. The cream I used was Riley Blake Painters Swill Parchment. The two shades of red strips was from my stash of blenders.
The pattern instructions cutting the border fabric. There is no way to get the dimensions required without piecing one of the borders. Or to make it as pictured your will need Twice as much fabric ;indicated in the pattern. I pieced the bottom section. Matched the side border panels. The top and bottom border panel “coordinate”. It works. Finished size: 74” x 81”
I’m a new longarm quilter. I hope more practice I will get better!
Using 27” of the border fabric and some of the scraps I made a pillowcase, using the burrito method.
