Wooden boat shuttle bobbin winder. Designed for winding bobbins for the Ashford boat shuttle or paper quills
Tapered stainless steel shaft (approx. 1/4" - 3/16"), nylon bearings, fast 12:1 ratio. Natural timber finish.
Note - shaft is too thin for Schacht boat shuttle bobbins. . . you can adapt by first sliding a paper quill, then the Schacht bobbin.
Winder includes clamp and 1 or 10 bobbins.

When using the treadles for an eight shaft loom use the treadle for the first four shafts and the levers for the last four shafts, as treadles are designed for direct tie-up only.
Height from floor to base of table loom is 24½ inches.
Will Stand work with older Ashford Table Looms? If the loom has only one rail on the sides it will fit. The older ones with two rails on the sides will not fit.
